DURING ALL WORKSHOP OPTIONS STUDENTS WILL BE INCOURAGED, GUIDED, AND INSPIRED TO CREATE THEIR VERY OWN NARRATIVE IN A FRIENDLY AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT. WHEN IMAGINARY ENVIRONMENT NARRATIVE IS WRITTEN, STUDENTS WILL DRAW A THUMBNAIL SIZE DRAFT( VERY SMALL) TO ILLUSTRATE THEIR NARRATIVE. WHEN DONE THEY WILL BE TAUGHT HOW TO SCALE UP THEIR THUMBNAIL DRAWING ONTO A LARGER SHEET OF 90 LB PAPER, WHEN SCALED UP DRAWING IS COMPLETE, THEY WILL USE A VARIETY OF WET AND DRY COLOR MEDIUMS PAINT TO FURTHER ILLUSTRATE THEIR NARRITIVE WITH A FOCUS ON CREATING THE ILLUSION OF THREE DIMENSIONAL FORM. Note: the size of the 90 lb paper will be smaller if the student is only attending the workshop for one day or less so they have a better chance to complete the composition.
